Big Rock students got to walk to school on October 3rd. Students were dropped off at Cole Park and they made their way to Big Rock. It was a misty morning however the kids had a great time and I think the adults did too.
On September 27th at 10:00 am Big Rock students, staff, and friends "Jammed" with 1,299,300 other people around the world. JAM (Just A Minute) is a one minute movement routine that everyone performed together at the same time to attempt to set the World Record. Big Rock Students had a great time.
Come check out the Big Rock students celebrating their fitness accomplishments. The day starts at 9:30am at the Showboat Park with the K-1st grades running the 5K and the 2nd-4th grades will participate in a kickball game, the Indian Dash (Obstacle Course), and the Healthy Booths.
Then at 11:00am the 2nd-4th grades will run the 5K while the K-1st grades check out the Healthy Booths, the Indian Dash, and Parachute play. It should be a fun morning.
